Why would you need us?

Our customers, while across all ages, are mostly seniors, or their family, who need to move or clean out their home for any of a variety of reasons, for example, downsizing, assisted living, selling a home, and need our full service property preparation which will allow them to focus on their move while we focus on scheduling, planning, networking, sorting, selling, donating, coordinating and creative problem solving of all the necessary tasks to clear out their home, get them Squared Away and moved.

As people age, housing needs change for a variety of reasons from downsizing, to need for assisted living, to consolidating two homes or clearing out a family home.  Big changes, especially moving, are often difficult and unsettling, the weight of a move is literal, physical and emotional: aging, declining health, stress of moving; not having enough energy or time; overwhelmed/emotional; family lives out of state; ‘stuck’; doesn’t know how to do it, doesn't know where to start; too much stuff.

If you shook your head yes, to some or all of the above, Squared Away will happily manage the preparations for your move or downsize project.  If you simply just do not want to do it, your focus can be to start the next phase, you can leave the scheduling, planning, networking, sorting, selling, donating, coordinating and creative problem solving of all the needed tasks to us, and we will get them Squared Away.                                                         

We will cater our move preparation project management to meet our client’s individual needs with our end goal being to provide relief during the home project and to provide a low-stress, well organized, efficient move, while our client focuses on just the things they choose. We will tailor our to-do list after a consultation with our client to provide an empathetic, respectful process of the project management of your move.  Let us destress the process, while you focus on other more enjoyable aspects; move gets done while you get moving; client can tend to family priorities (assisted living and other arrangements).  We will work to clear out your things.  We will re-home, sell, donate, recycle as best we can.  The first step in the process will always be to safeguard personal items that will be kept.
